On the morning of July 28th, a delegation of SJTU-UNIDO Joint Institute of Inclusive and Sustainable Industrial Development went to the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) ITPO Shanghai for exchange and study, and invited Su Ying, Vice President of Shanghai Jiao Tong University Institute of Advanced Industrial Technology, to give work guidance. Zhao Xiaolei, the head of UNIDO ITPO Shanghai and the co-dean of SJTU-UNIDO Joint Institute of Inclusive and Sustainable Industrial Development, Wei Wendong, associate professor, Tian Xu, associate researcher, Dong Huijuan, double-appointed researcher, and Wang Hui, ITPO Shanghai officer attended the seminar.
Zhao Xiaolei first introduced the general situation and strategic framework of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization ITPO Shanghai Office. She pointed out that ITPO Shanghai is committed to empowering the whole process of technological products from design to market, forming a full-scene model of "one network" + "one platform" + "one center". Next, Ms. Zhao proposed a "step-by-step" construction idea for the next step of SJTU-UNIDO Joint Institute of Inclusive and Sustainable Industrial Development. She pointed out that the scientific research work should be carried out with the output of the Institute's characteristic products and values, in-depth thinking and capacity mining from the perspective of university development, while forming a closed loop with the Center's business and achieving cross-border platform connection and integration. After that, Wang Hui gave a detailed explanation of the annual specific work of ITPO Shanghai and showed the list of 100 advanced technologies collected from the world to the participants.
Su Ying explained the background and path of the current implementation of advanced industrial technology in universities. She believed that we should actively optimize the results' transformation path of enterprises, government and universities, and open up the "beginning kilometer" and "last kilometer" channels and implement customized solutions for the transformation and achievement of projects. For the trust crisis in technology, investment and market, solutions should be found as soon as possible to form a co-prosperity development mechanism.
Wei Wendong made a detailed analysis of the recent projects, and also put forward suggestions and opinions on the division of work and the way to carry out the next step. Song Xiaoqian, Zhang Yuquan, Liu Jingyu and Yu Haisan, double-appointed researchers of the Institute, also had in-depth discussions with the organizers on scientific research work, implementation and transformation of technical achievements and related work.
